Project Concept
In June 2023, I started working on Lumi, the post Covid world recognized the critical role of technology—akin to oxygen—in our lives. The pandemic-induced shift to remote schooling and work led to Zoom fatigue, affecting both kids and adults. Parents, once wary of screens, now embraced them as a lifeline to the outside world.

Rather than adding to the screen overload, I sought to empower parents by promoting independence, responsibility, and creativity in children. They recognized the importance of social interaction and mental well-being, especially during lockdowns when in-person classrooms and playtime were scarce. The design principles emphasized non-screen activities for holistic childhood development and exploration.
